Hi, I’m Tammy and I work at MELCCC five days a week doing breaks in the morning and working with the 4 y/o kinders in the afternoons. I have an Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services. I’ve worked in the Early Childhood sector for over 19 years, with all different ages!

“Hi, I’m Emily and I am originally from the US. I obtained my bachelors degree in 2013 from the University of Oklahoma, a Bachlor of the Arts degree with a focus on Human Interaction. I’ve been working with children since 2007, starting as a nanny for two children for two years. Since then I’ve worked in a childcare after school care in the U.S, aided in many children’s after-school programs and acted as a sleep-away camp counselor). I currently work in the office at MELCC doing administrative tasks and helping out throughout the centre where I can.

“After I completed my Diploma of Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) in 2006, I have been working in Food Service Industry for the past 8 years, mainly in commercial kitchens, including restaurants and airline catering. Fortunately, I have had the opportunity to work at MELCCC as a Cook. My goal is to ensure that children have access to healthy and well balanced meals throughout the day. Cooking tasty and nutritious food to meet dietary needs of each child is important. It is always a joy to hear a little compliments from the children!”
